The next edition takes place on 21–22 February 2026, in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
The route traces a demanding alpine loop that begins and ends in Les Diablerets, quickly pulling athletes away from the valley and into higher and more exposed ground. From the forests of Marnèche and the open slopes of Palette, the course rises toward the Alpage and Col d’Isenau, where altitude starts to dictate rhythm.
What follows is a sequence of alpine passages through La Chaux, Arpille and Pierre Fendues, before dropping into Fond de Seron and climbing again toward Sazième and the Arnenhorn.
The final sections through Seeberg, Voré, Retaud, Dar and Le Mont offer no real relief, only a gradual return shaped by fatigue and accumulated elevation.
Day two didn’t ask questions—it demanded answers.
Col du Chaussy set the tone early, followed by the long pull toward Col du Télégraphe. Clouds rolled in. Rain followed. The kind that seeps in slowly and stays.
Then came Col du Galibier. The air thinned. Conversations stopped. Everyone disappeared into their own effort.At the summit, no one said much. We didn’t need to.

La Verticale on Saturday and the Mini-Diabolique and Diabolique on Sunday exist as alternative ways of engaging with the same terrain, but the Super-Diabolique is where the philosophy is experienced in its entirety.
